Evernight's Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the Evernight Holiday Blog Hop!

We love the holidays, we love making our readers happy and we love giving away swag. What better way to do that than to hold a blog hop?

Here's how it works... the more blogs you hop to (shown below) the more chance you have of winning prizes. Each site on the hop is offering a prize and Evernight is offering an iPad 2 as the grand prize! To be in with a chance of winning the site prize simply follow the blog you're visiting and leave a comment which includes your email address. Each entry on each blog is then counted towards the grand prize draw. The more entries you have, the better your chance of winning that iPad 2! You also get extra points for liking the Evernight Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/#!/evernightpublishing. Just make sure you let us know in the comments that you've done so.

Happy hopping!

Make sure to stop by Evernight Publishing and check out all my books. My most recent release, co-written with Sonia Hightower, came out back in October 2012. Into The Crossfire is a fictional story about two women who find love in the middle of chaos.

Leave me a comment for a chance to win you very own ebook copy :)

Kelly Got Her Mojo Back.....

So, it's been a while. Yes, I've had a terrible time in the past few months completing anything. I would sit down at the computer and stare, but nothing would appear on the screen, my fingers wouldn't move on the keyboard. Frustrated, I'd simply just walk away.

But like Stella got her groove back, I've finally got my mojo back. Yes, I'm ready to tackle my writing projects!

Two days ago my fellow author and friend Sonia Hightower and I, submitted our lesbian romance piece to Evernight Publishing. And now we wait, in anticipation, hoping to get an acceptance email in the inbox.

My contracted piece, Love & Freedom, is finally moving along again. It's due to Ruby Lioness Press in a little over two weeks. I will prevail with this one. Though it's given me trouble, made me cry, and pushed me to my limits...I will finish it. And it will be fabulous!

I've met some new characters from medieval times, and I have begun writing bits and bobs of their story.

I also sent what I had written of Sinful Desires to a friend who has encouraged me that I need to finish writing Kennedy & Roxanne's story. So, if I can just get over the hurtle of the chapter that has been haunting me with this piece, I will be able to move forward and hopefully have it ready for submission by late September.

So, I've got things lined up to work on. Pieces that will hopefully be accepted and lined up for release, and my mind is back in the right place.

And to tease you a bit, here's a little snippet from my currently contracted piece:

Michael’s body still trembled, an after effect from the nightmare. He wiped his brow again, this time with the back of his hand, and then shoved the covers off.  An attempt was made to slide off the bed without waking Arianne, but her hand snaked out and grabbed his thigh.

“Don’t leave me yet,” she purred with a voice still husky from sleep.

He watched her stretch like a cat in the bed, and saw her open her eyes in a slow fashion that seduced. The covers fell away to give him full view of her naked flesh, illuminated by the moonlight shining in the window, and he couldn’t take his eyes off her.

Arianne slid a hand up her thigh across her stomach and squeezed her breast as he watched. His mouth watered as he thought of how sweet she’d tasted earlier in the evening. When she moved closer, using her fingers to stroke the length of him, all thoughts of leaving the bed for an early cup of coffee were lost. “The night’s still young, cowboy,” she said with a sultry look in her eyes. “How about one more ride?”

His body reacted to her touch the way any healthy, able, man’s would, and his cock jumped to attention, ready for action. He’d already had her twice, but there was no way he was refusing sex, especially not when it was the better alternative to sitting alone in the kitchen. He moved to cover her body with his, but she shook her head.

“Not this time.” Her eyes were still heavy and gave her a sleepy doe look that made him stop in his tracks. “This time I want to ride your cock until we both take the plunge together.”

Happy to appease her, he settled against the pillows. He wanted to watch her tits bounce when she rocked and bucked against him. She wanted a ride, and damn if he wouldn’t give her a good one.
